博士后学术沙龙(第77期)

  为搭建学校博士后之间的学术交流平台,促进学术水平提升,学校博士后管理办公室组织开展博士后学术沙龙活动。本次沙龙由生命科学与技术学院博士后廖文翡、田清和张胜楠分享其研究成果,诚挚邀请感兴趣的师生参加。

  五、活动安排:

  报告一:     

  (1)主 题:城镇化如何影响水生昆虫飞行相关的形态学性状?

  (2)主讲人:廖文翡  生命科学与技术学院博士后 

  (3)交流内容:

  全球城镇化呈现一种势不可挡的趋势,大面积的森林、农田和自然栖息地被转变为不可渗透的表面。这种土地使用的变化导致全球城镇景观中的生物多样性下降,不利于城镇生态环境的稳定和城镇居民的身心健康。在生物多样性保护中,物种性状(species traits)因其可量化物种对环境变化的反应并可用于预测物种灭绝的风险,而逐渐被研究人员所关注。本研究以一种湿地生物多样性生物指标——龙虱(鞘翅目龙虱科,Coleoptera: Dytiscidae)为对象,研究城镇化如何影响水生昆虫中与飞行相关的形态学性状的种内变异(intraspecific variation)。研究结果表明,虽然城镇化会影响种内变异,但城镇化既不能影响所有物种和所有与飞行相关的形态学性状,也不能在所有尺度上影响种间变异。这是因为城镇景观涉及许多复杂的环境变化,不同的环境因素对每个物种的影响不一。结果揭示了,城镇化对一个物种的影响并不一定适用于与之亲缘关系很近的物种,深入研究物种之间在形态学层面上和基因层面上的相似度都十分重要。我们呼吁全人类保护城镇、乃至整个自然界的生物多样性,物种的平衡和多样性是人类可持续发展的基础。

  (4)主讲人简介:

  廖文翡于2021年在芬兰赫尔辛基大学(University of Helsinki, Finland)获得环境变迁与政策哲学博士学位,目前是电子科技大学生命科学与技术学院生物信息学中心博士后研究人员。其研究方向为鞘翅目龙虱科(Coleoptera: Dytiscidae)物种的演化与城镇生物多样性保护。

  报告二:

  (1)主 题:A re-evaluation of determining family and genus limits in Chaetothyriales

  (2)主讲人:田 清  生命科学与技术学院博士后

  (3)交流内容:

  The ascomycetous order Chaetothyriales (Eurotiomycetes), particularly known as black yeasts and flamentous relatives cause opportunistic infections in humans and also with the appearance of sooty moulds which are found adpressed to the surface of leaves and stems, gaining nutrients from sugary exudates. The highly diverse species in Chaetothyriales often rather extreme in terms of exposition and toxicity. This report will focus on determining family and genus on the basis of evolutionary history based on morphological re-identification, phylogenetic analyses, divergence reconstruction and concepts of comparative biology using stochastical character mapping. A nomenclatural overview is provided. 

  (4)主讲人简介:

  Tian Qing graduated from the Center of Excellence in Fungal Diversity, Mae Fah Luang University which is leading the world in the field of mycology at present. She currently works as a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Life Science and Technology, UESTC with the supervision of Prof. Jiankui Liu. She has published 57 papers and including 6 papers as the first author (2 of which were published in the TOP journals of mycology), she was listed in "Highly Cited Researchers" in the field of "Plant and Animal Science" in 2018. Dr. Tian Qing mainly worked on diversity, taxonomy and molecular phylogeny of Eurotiomycetes.

  报告三:

  (1)主 题:Current insights into palm fungi with emphasis on taxonomy and phylogeny

  (3)交流内容:

  Fungi and plants have been intricately linked through much of their evolutionary history. Compared with the plant and animal kingdoms, humans have just started to scratch the surface of knowledge of fungi. Previous works on the taxonomy of palm fungi have so far remained at the one-dimensional linear stage dominated by morphology, which in some cases is subjective and unconvincing. The development of molecular approaches, the availability of fungal fossil calibration data, and the use of divergence times as a universally standardized criterion for studying evolution and genetic relationship of fungi are more objective. Therefore, we are improving the taxonomic classification of palm fungi by incorporating molecular evolution and phylogenetic approaches based on newly collected samples from nature. In our work, comprehensive phylogenetic frameworks were constructed for two main groups (Dothideomycetes and Sordariomycetes) within Ascomycota, as well as typical fungal groups. New and interesting taxa were isolated, identified, and well-described, and reference specimens were proposed when possible. The present work also provides an overview of all validly published, currently accepted palm ascomycete genera to date in a single document.

  (4)主讲人简介:

  张胜楠,2021年博士毕业于泰国清迈大学(Chiang Mai University)植物病理学专业,现为电子科技大学生物医学工程博士后。主要从事真菌多样性,分类及分子系统发育学研究。自2017年以来已发表SCI收录科技论文20篇,包括7篇第一作者文章和13篇合作作者论文。Web of Science H 指数11,总引用932次。
